River Forest Park (Durham)

River Forest Park is a 68-acre Durham park in the northern part of the city in the Triangle region.  Nestled along the Eno River east of Roxboro Road in Durham County, the park features picnic areas, athletics fields and trail access.  Segment 10 of the statewide Mountains-to-Sea Trail follows the river through the park, connecting with West Point on the Eno and Penny's Bend Nature Preserve.  The River Forest Trail piggybacks on the MST from River Forest Park to Roxboro Road.
