Durham NC

Durham, North Carolina is one of the main cities of the Research Triangle and the county seat of Durham County.  The city and county are named for Bartlett Durham, a businessman who donated land for a railroad depot that would become the city.  Powered by rapid growth from nearby universities, hospitals and technology companies, Durham has grown to the fourth largest city in the state.

River Forest Park is a city park along the Eno River with access to the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.


West Point on the Eno:


West Point on the Eno lies along the Eno River between Guess Road and Roxboro Road and has hiking trails and historical buildings.

Glennstone Preserve is a nature preserve adjacent to Glennstone subdivision in northeast Durham.
