Worthington State Forest

Worthington State Forest is a 6,000-acre New Jersey State Forest in Warren County, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.  The forest stretches for 7 miles along Kittatinny Ridge overlooking the Delaware River.  The forest is named for Charles Worthington, an industrialist who purchased forested land on both sides of the river for hunting.  Today, the forest has a campground, picnic areas, and more than 22 miles of trails, including the Appalachian Trail.

Laurel Falls is a scenic 30-foot waterfall on Sunfish Creek.


Lower Laurel Falls:


Lower Laurel Falls is a 15-foot waterfall downstream of Laurel Falls.
