Whitetop Laurel Falls (Mount Rogers)

Whitetop Laurel Falls, also called Big Rock Falls, is an 8-foot waterfall on Whitetop Laurel Creek in Washington County, Virginia.  The waterfall is located along the Virginia Creeper Trail.

Directions:


From Damascus, head east on US-58 for about 4 miles and turn right into the Straight Branch Trailhead parking for the Virginia Creeper Trail.

Hike Description:


Go right on Virginia Creeper Trail heading towards Damascus.  In just under a mile, cross the creek on a trestle bridge.  The waterfall is just downstream of the bridge.
