Hike Description:

Silver Run Falls Trail (#435) begins from the side of NC-105.

The trail crosses a footbridge and leads to the large pool at the base of Silver Run Falls.

There's plenty of rocks to climb around on or wade in the pool when the weather is warm.  This is a popular area so expect a crowd.

When facing the waterfall, to the left is an obvious place to climb up using rocks and roots to hold on.  It's steep, but plenty of handholds.  Once at the top, follow the obvious path about 0.1 miles to Upper Silver Run Falls.

It's about 15 feet and very scenic.  Although Silver Run Falls can be crowded, there's rarely anyone else at the upper falls.
