Hike Description:

Rock Creek Falls Trail (#148) picks up across the street from the camper registration kiosk and follows Rock Creek upstream.  At 0.4 miles, the bicycle and Rattlesnake Ridge Trails split to the left; continue straight.  At 0.6 miles, the bicycle trail intersects again and the main trail heads into the wilderness.  There are several crossings of Rock Creek that could be difficult in high water.

After the fourth crossing, the trail passes Lower Rock Creek Falls at 1.9 miles and is visible from the trail.

A steep path leads down to the creek at the base of the waterfall.

The water flows over colorful rocks that are covered in moss.

Here's a video of the falls.
