Little Wildcat Falls (Middle Prong)

Little Wildcat Falls is a roadside waterfall on a tributary of West Fork Pigeon River in Haywood County, North Carolina.  The waterfall is located in near Middle Prong Wilderness in Pisgah National Forest.

Directions:


From Brevard, head west on US-64 for about nine miles and turn right on NC-215 north. Drive about 18.0 miles on NC-215 N, 1.5 miles after Blue Ridge Parkway, and park in a small pull-off on the right.

Hike Description:


The waterfall is basically across the street from this pull-off.


The water flows down an unnamed tributary that's not on the topo map and flows under NC-215 and into West Fork Pigeon River just upstream of Bubbling Spring Branch.  In low water, there may be no waterfall to see, but it's pretty nice in high water.
