FR-74 Waterfall is a 10-foot waterfall on a tributary of Staire Branch in Buncombe County, North Carolina. The waterfall is located in the Big Ivy/Coleman Boundary Area in Pisgah National Forest.

Directions:
From Asheville, head north on I-25 west for about 12 miles to exit 15. Turn right on NC-197 and go 6 miles to Barnardsville and turn right on Dillingham Road. Continue on Dillingham Road for about 5 miles and it will change to gravel as it enters the national forest and becomes FR-74. Follow FR-74 for 6.1 miles and pull off right before the waterfall. There is very limited parking here, but other pull-offs nearby.

Hike Description:
The waterfall is easily visible from the road, no hike involved. It's a small waterfall, not worth a special trip, but worth a quick stop if in the area, especially after a heavy rain.
