From Lenoir, head west on NC-90 for about 19 miles and turn left on Anthony Creek Road.  The turn is right before NC-90 changes to gravel.  Go 2.9 miles on Anthony Creek Road, which changes to gravel after about a mile, and pull off on the right just before the bridge over Woodruff Branch.

Hike Description:

The waterfall is visible from the road.  A path on river left leads up to the main drop, but it was covered in downfall when I visited.

Just downstream of the road where Woodruff Branch flows into Anthony Creek, there is a nice cascade and swimhole on the creek.

Here's a video of the falls.
