Hike Description:

From the south end of the parking area, follow Tarkiln Branch Road for about 1 mile to an intersection with Wintergreen Falls Trail.  Turn left and follow for about half a mile to a bike rack, where Wintergreen Falls is straight ahead.  Turn left and head up the obvious path behind the bike rack  that goes up above Wintergreen Falls and follows Grassy Creek upstream.  The trail is narrow and steep in places but easy to follow.  In about a quarter-mile, reach the base of Upper Grassy Creek Falls.  I scrambled across the creek on the rocks for the best view.

Here's a video of the falls.
