Tucker Creek Falls is a 40-foot waterfall on its namesake in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The waterfall is located in the Pisgah Ranger District of Pisgah National Forest.

Warnings: There is no trail or path to the falls. The route requires a steep climb down from the road and creek walking to the waterfall. The rocks around the waterfalls are very slippery.

Directions:

From Brevard, head west on US-64 for 8.5 miles and turn right on NC-215 north. Go 8.7 miles and turn left on Tanasee Gap Road. Go 1.4 miles and turn left on gravel Pressley Fields Road. Go about 1/4 mile and pull off on right after the second "Area under surveillance" sign.

Hike Description:

At the pull-off, there should be a way to get down to the creek. I had to butt-slide down the first bit to a tree and then could stand upright the rest of the way down. It was tricky getting back up. Once down to creek level, get in the creek and head upstream just over 0.1 miles to the waterfall. I saw a path about half way that led up to the road and tried to go up there on the way back but it was too steep. I could walk on rocks on one side of the creek or the other in a couple places. It's not a difficult creek walk and not very long.
