Smithfield Neuse Riverwalk

The Town of Smithfield's Neuse Riverwalk and Buffalo Creek Greenway is a 3-mile paved greenway trail that is part of Segment 11 of the statewide Mountains-to-Sea Trail.  The northern trailhead is at the Smithfield Community Park and it follows Buffalo Creek and Neuse River to downtown Smithfield.  There are five trailhead parking lots and the trail connects with four town parks along its course.

Buffalo Creek Greenway runs for just under 3 miles from Smithfield Community Park to Jaycee Kiddie Park.
