Silver Spray Falls (Delaware Water Gap)

Silver Spray Falls, also called Hidden Falls, is a 40-foot waterfall on a tributary of Flat Brook in Sussex County, New Jersey.  The waterfall is located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Directions:


From Newton, head north on US-206 for about 5 miles and turn left to stay on US-206.  Go another 7 miles and turn left on Struble Road.  Drive 3.9 miles and turn right on Tillman Road.  Go 1 mile and turn left onto Mountain Road at Walpack Cemetery.  Drive 1.4 miles down Mountain Road and pull off on the left just before an overgrown driveway on the right.  If Mountain Road is closed, you can park at the gate and hike down the road 1.4 miles one way to the waterfall.

Hike Description:


From the pull-off, hike up the road about 400 feet to an obvious path into the woods on the left.  At about 0.2 miles, cross the tributary that Silver Spray Falls is on.  You should be able to hear it from this point.  Across the creek, follow the path upstream on river-right to Silver Spray Falls.
