Issaqueena Falls

Issaqueena Falls is a 100-foot waterfall on Cane Creek in Oconee County, South Carolina.  The waterfall is located in Stumphouse Park near Walhalla.

Directions:


From Walhalla, head west on SC-28 for about 5.5 miles and turn right on Stumphouse Tunnel Road to enter the park.  The fee station is on the right about 0.1 miles after entering.  Once paying the fee, continue on the road another quarter mile and go right to the parking for Issaqueena Falls.

Hike Description:


From the south end of the parking area, cross the creek on a bridge and go under a quarter-mile to a wooden overlook of the falls.  The view from here is best in winter.


There is an obvious path from the overlook that leads steeply to the base for a less cluttered view.
