Hood Canal Ranger District (Olympic)

The Hood Canal Ranger District in Olympic National Forest comprises forest lands in the eastern portion of Olympic Peninsula.  The district contains many miles of hiking and multi-use trails, campgrounds, scenic mountain lakes and rivers with numerous cascading waterfalls.  The district office is located in Quilcene.

The Lake Cushman Area surrounds the scenic mountain lake near Hoodsport and has many miles of trails and mountain peaks.


Mount Skokomish Wilderness:


Mount Skokomish Wilderness protects 13,000 acres of rugged mountains towering over Hood Canal.
