Mount Skokomish Wilderness

Mount Skokomish Wilderness is a 13,278-acre Wilderness Area in Olympic National Forest in Mason County, Washington.  The wilderness is located in the southeastern part of the forest near Lake Cushman.  The highest point in the wilderness is Mount Skokomish at 6,434 feet above sea level.  Other notable peaks in the area include Mount Lincoln, Mount Cruiser, Mount Ellinor and Mount Washington and includes the headwaters of the Hamma Hamma River.

Mount Ellinor:


Mount Ellinor is a 5,944-foot mountain above Lake Cushman. Mount Ellinor Trail (#855) provides access to the summit. The top provides panoramic views of Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, Lake Cushman, Mount Olympus and the Olympic Mountains.
