Historic Corolla Park

Historic Corolla Park, formerly called Currituck Heritage Park, is a 39-acre park along the sound in Corolla in northern Currituck County.  Several notable attractions are at the park, including the Whalehead Club, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education.  The park also features walking trails throughout the grounds, fishing piers and a boat launch for boating on Currituck Sound.  Located right in the heart of Corolla, the park is also a central place for festivals and events, such as Independence Day fireworks.

The park lies along Currituck Sound and makes a great place to watch the sunset.
