Gunflint Ranger District (Superior)

The Gunflint Ranger District of Superior National Forest is the northeastern most forest district, consisting of forest lands between Lake Superior and the Canadian border.  The district contains part of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness as well Eagle Mountain, Minnesota's highest point.  There are many miles of trails throughout the district and the Gunflint Trail Scenic Byway is a scenic driving route through the forest.
