Great Falls of the Passaic

Great Falls of the Passaic is a 77-foot waterfall on Passaic River in Passaic County, New Jersey.  The waterfall is located in Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park.

Directions:


From Newark, head west on I-280 to exit 12B for Garden State Parkway north.  Go 9.2 miles and take exit 155A for NJ-19.  Follow NJ-19 north for 1.7 miles and take the Grand Street exit.  Turn left onto Grand Street and mark the first right onto Spruce Street.  Drive 0.3 miles and turn right onto McBridge Street and then left into the parking area.

Hike Description:


The waterfall is easily seen from the parking area.  A short paved path leads down to nice views of the waterfall from here.
