Granville Gulf Reservation

Granville Gulf Reservation is an 1,171-acre Vermont State Forest in Addison County.  The reservation protects forest and waters along both sides of VT-100 through the Granville Gulf.  In 1928, Governor Redfield Proctor donated 900 acres of land to the state for protection and additional land purchases were made in 1942 and 1952.  Green Mountain National Forest borders the reservation to the west.  The primary activity in the reservation is scenic driving along Route 100 through the Gulf.  Additionally, there is a parking area and short trail to the beautiful Moss Glen Falls.
