Moss Glen Falls (Granville)

Moss Glen Falls is a 30-foot waterfall on Deer Hollow Brook in Addison County, Vermont.  Another waterfall is located on a tributary.  The waterfalls are located in Granville Gulf Reservation.

Directions:


From Waterbury, head south on VT-100 for 7 miles and turn right to stay on VT-100.  Go another 18.4 miles and turn right into the parking area for Moss Glen Falls.

Hike Description:


The short trail begins at the end of the parking area.  Once on the trail, look to the right where an unnamed tributary flows down the mountain.  Little Moss Glen Falls is right off the trail, though its a small stream and might dry up at times.


The trail continues another hundred feet or so to the base of the beautiful Moss Glen Falls.  The waterfall is also visible from Route 100 driving by.
