Hike Description:

Past the visitor center and rest area, a paved trail leads towards the river.  Middle Gooseberry Falls is just downstream of the MN-61 bridge over Gooseberry River.

After crossing under the bridge, Upper Gooseberry Falls can be seen from trail.  See Gooseberry Falls for more description of these waterfalls.

After about 0.5 miles, cross the bridge over the river and continue to follow upstream.  The waterfall will be on the left in another half mile.

The lower chute part of the falls is more difficult to get a good view.

From here, cross the bridge above the waterfall and turn left to follow the river back downstream to the start of the hike.
