Hike Description:

Past the Visitor Center and Rest Area, a paved trail leads to Middle Falls, just downstream of the MN-61 bridge over the river.

Unless the water is way up, it's possible to get out in the river and view the waterfall from different angles.

Lower Falls is just downstream of here.

To reach the base, return to the paved trail and follow it down to another spot to get out in the river.  Unless the water is up, it's easy to rock hop across to the base of Lower Falls.

To reach the Upper Falls, return to the paved trail and follow it upstream and under the bridge on MN-61.  Upper Falls is just past here.

Follow the trail to just before reaching the top and there is a very steep climb down to view the falls from the base.
