Coyote Falls (Little Whitewater)

Coyote Falls is a 40-foot waterfall on Little Whitewater Creek in Jackson County, North Carolina.  The waterfall is located in Nantahala National Forest.

Warnings: The rocks around waterfalls are very slippery.  There is a short steep part right near the end.

Directions:


From Cashiers head south on NC-107 for 4.4 miles from US-64 to a pull-off on the right.  It's just after Silver Run Falls.  Make sure your vehicle is completely off the road.

Hike Description:


From the pull-off, follow the obvious path that heads upstream along Little Whitewater Creek.  In half a mile, the trail ends at the waterfall.
