Bridal Veil Falls is a 365-foot waterfall on Bridal Veil Creek in San Miguel County. It is the highest free-falling waterfall in Colorado. The waterfall is located in just outside Telluride in Uncompahgre National Forest.

Directions:
From Montrose, head south on US-550 for about 26 miles to Ridgeway and turn right on CO-62 west. Go 23 miles to Placerville and turn left on CO-145 south. In 12.7 miles, take the second exit in the roundabout to stay on CO-145. In another 2.9 miles, go straight through the roundabout to Colorado Avenue and follow for 2.5 miles. Colorado Avenue becomes Forest Road 648 and there is a parking here. You can drive the rest of the way to the waterfall, but the Forest Service recommends 4WD to go further on FR-648.

Hike Description:
From the parking area, hike up FR-648 for 1.6 miles to the base of the waterfall. It can be seen along much of the hike up.
There is a viewing spot near the base.
