Adams Falls (Ricketts Glen)

Adams Falls is a 36-foot waterfall on Kitchen Creek in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.  The waterfall is located in Ricketts Glen State Park.

Directions:


From Wilkes-Barre, head north on PA-309 for about 4 miles and turn left on Hillside Road.  Drive 3.2 miles and go straight/bear right onto Old Route 115.  Go 3.4 miles and turn left on PA-118 west.  In 12.9 miles, turn left into the Evergreen Trailhead parking area.

Hike Description:


Pick up the Evergreen Trail that leads to the top of the falls and then down to a rock outcrop to view the main drop.


There is also a lower drop though it can't be seen from here.  Continue on the trail and cross the creek, then hike up the other side to see the lower drop.  The upper drop is not visible from here.
