Victoria Bluff Heritage Preserve/Wildlife Management Area

Victoria Bluff Heritage Preserve/Wildlife Management Area is a 977-acre preserve in Beaufort County near Hilton Head Island.  The area protects a pine-saw palmetto flatwoods community, rare in South Carolina.  As a Wildlife Management Area, it is used for hunting so wear blaze orange in season.  There are no official trails, but a network of old roads run through the property to explore on foot.  A small parking area for trailhead access is located off Sawmill Creek Road in Bluffton.
