Hike Description:
Use extreme caution and quickly cross US-64 and get on the other side of the guardrail. Head east on US-64 for about 0.2 miles to the end of the guardrail and there is an old road with a wooden gate. Follow the old road behind the gate down to Toxaway River. The old road peters out quickly, but it's pretty easy to follow and there was flagging tape when we visited. At the bottom, go left and follow Toxaway River downstream a short ways to come out at the top of the falls. Cross the river and climb down to the base. The climb down is very steep and requires a rope.
