Toiyabe National Forest

Toiyabe National Forest is a large National Forest with discontinuous sections western and southern Nevada as well as eastern California.  The forest was established in 1907, then incorporated into Nevada National Forest and re-established again in 1938.  Toiyabe National Forest was administratively combined with Humboldt National Forest in 1995, making the largest National Forest outside Alaska.  The combined forests are headquartered in Sparks, Nevada.
