Shower Bath Falls (Lake Toxaway)

Shower Bath Falls, also called Shower Falls, is a roadside waterfall on a tributary of Toxaway River, in Transylvania County, North Carolina.  The waterfall is located on private property but viewable roadside.

Directions:


From Brevard, head west on US-64 for about 15 miles and turn right on NC-281. Drive about 0.9 miles and turn left on Cold Mountain Road.  Go 3.9 miles to the waterfall on the right.

Hike Description:


There's almost no parking here so best to just get a picture from the car.  The stream is very small so try to visit after a heavy rain.
