Seven Mile Creek Natural Area (Orange)

Seven Mile Creek Natural Area is an Orange County Park near Hillsborough.  The natural area is part of the larger Upper Eno River Nature Preserve and is one of the larger parcels of undisturbed natural land in central Orange County.  The park has over a mile of trails leading to scenic overlooks of the creek and is open daily during daylight hours.

Northern Forest Trail:


Northern Forest Trail makes a half-mile loop splitting off from Seven Mile Creek Loop Trail in the northern part of the preserve.


Overlook Trail:


Overlook Trail is a very short loop from Seven Mile Loop Trail that leads to an overlook of the creek.


Seven Mile Loop Trail:


Seven Mile Loop Trail is the main loop hike leading from the parking area to the river with two shorter loops splitting off.
