Pike National Forest

Pike National Forest is a 1 million-acre National Forest in central Colorado west of Colorado Springs.  The forest contains numerous mountain peaks above 14,000 feet, including Pikes Peak, which towers over Colorado Springs.  It is managed jointly with San Isabel National Forest, Cimmaron National Grassland and Comanche National Grassland.  The combined forests and grasslands are headquartered in Pueblo.
