Palmetto Trail

The Palmetto Trail is a long-distance trail across the state of South Carolina.  It is currently made up of 23 segments or "passages".

Passages:


Wateree Passage: The Wateree Passage is 11.4 miles of moderate trail through the Sandhills region.  The trail passes through Manchester State Forest and ends in Poinsett State Park.



High Hills of Santee Passage:  The High Hills of Santee Passage is 9.4 miles of moderate trail through the Sandhills region.  The trail starts in Poinsett State Park and passes through Manchester State Forest.


Swamp Fox Passage:  The Swamp Fox Passage is 47 mile section of the trail in the Coastal region through Francis Marion National Forest.
