North Cheyenne Cañon Park

North Cheyenne Cañon Park is a 1600-acre Colorado Springs Park southwest of the city.  The canyon carved by North Cheyenne Creek is up to 1000 feet deep in places.  A paved road follows the creek and leads to multiple trailhead parking areas.  Surrounded by Pike National Forest, there are more than 20 miles of trails in the park, with many more in the connecting forest.  There are two visitor centers - Starsmore Visitor Center at the entrance and Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Center at the base of the waterfall.
