Segment 9 of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail runs for 60.1 miles from Bryan Park in Greensboro to Eno River State Park. This segment is Revolutions and Textiles due to the area's significance in the Revolutionary War and the textile industry. 13 miles is on trail and 47.1 miles is along roads.
Route:
The western trailhead is at Bryan Park in Greensboro and the trail follows roads east into Alamance County. It follows the Haw River Trail for about 8 miles and then roads into Orange County. In Hillsborough, the MST picks up the town's Riverwalk along Eno River.
The trail passes Historic Occoneechee Speedway to US-70. It follows the highway for the remainder of the segment to Eno River State Park.
