Hike Description:

From the far end of the parking area, pick up the Sol Duc Falls Nature Trail that leads 0.8 miles to a footbridge over the river Sol Duc Falls.  Continue on the trail another 0.1 miles to a junction and go left to get on Deer Lake Trail, which heads up along Canyon Creek.  At 1.6 miles, the trail crosses the creek on a footbridge over Lower Canyon Creek Falls.  After 2.8 miles from the trailhead, look for a path to the left that goes to a view of the waterfall.  The spot is not obvious, but you should be able to hear the falls.  It looks like the waterfall keeps going down, but I didn't see any reasonable way to continue down.

Here's a video of the falls.
