Hike Description:

From the far end of the parking area, pick up the Sol Duc Falls Nature Trail that leads 0.8 miles to a footbridge over the river Sol Duc Falls.  Continue on the trail another 0.1 miles to a junction and go left to get on Deer Lake Trail, which heads up along Canyon Creek.  In 3/4 mile, the trail crosses the creek on a footbridge over the waterfall.  I could not find a way down to the base.
