Ledge Creek Forest Conservation Area

Ledge Creek Forest Conservation Area is a 398-acre private nature preserve owned by Tar River Land Conservancy in Granville County.  Ledge Creek is a major tributary of Falls Lake, flowing south through Granville County.  Protected forest along the creek helps protect the drinking water supply and provides habitat for wildlife.  The Conservation Area has about 5 miles of hiking trails starting from two different trailheads that wind along the namesake creek past steep cliffs and small waterfalls.

Directions:

To reach trailhead 2, continue north on Brogden Road for 0.7 miles and turn left on W Tally Ho Road.  Go 0.3 miles and bear left on Old NC-75.  Go 0.4 miles and the entrance will be on the left.
