Judge C. R. Magney State Park

Judge C. R. Magney State Park is a 4000-acre Minnesota State Park on the Brule River along the North Shore of Lake Superior in Cook County.  The park was first established in 1957 as Brule River State Park.  In 1963, the park was renamed in memorial of Judge Magney, a Minnesota Supreme Court Justice, who was a strong advocate for state parks.  Today, the park features miles of hiking trails, a developed campground, and the Devil's Kettle, one of the most unique waterfalls in the state.
