Directions:
From Aberdeen, head north on US-101 for 37 miles and turn left onto South Shore Road at Lake Quinault. Drive 2.3 miles to a parking area on the left just after the Pacific Ranger District Office, which is the Falls Creek - South Shore Trailhead.
Map:
Hike Description:
From the parking area, go right on the Quinault Loop (#854) towards Falls Creek. The waterfall is visible from the trail. In less than 0.1 miles, turn right on a bridge over the creek to Falls Creek Campground. Go right to the end of the road and go down to creek level for a view of the waterfall that flows right under the road. It flows in two streams, but the water level was low when we visited.
