Copeland Falls (RMNP)

Copeland Falls is a small waterfall in two sections on North Saint Vrain Creek in Boulder County.  The waterfall is located in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Directions:


To visit the falls, head south from Estes Park on CO-7 east for about 13 miles to Allenspark.  Turn right on County Road 84 and then bear right to enter the park at the Wild Basin entrance.  Follow the road for 2 miles to the end at the Wild Basin Ranger Station.

Hike Description:


From the southwest end of the parking area, pick up the trail towards Copeland Falls.  In about 0.3 miles, a spur trail to the left leads down to the lower section of Copeland Falls.


This little side trail follows North Saint Vrain Creek closely from the lower to upper section of the waterfall.


Past here, the spur meets back up with the main trail.  Turn left to head back to the parking area.
