Cascade Falls (Quinault)

Cascade Falls is a 20-foot waterfall on Cascade Creek just upstream of the confluence with Falls Creek in Grays Harbor County, Washington.  The waterfall is located in Olympic National Forest near Lake Quinault.

Directions:


From Aberdeen, head north on US-101 for 37 miles and turn left onto South Shore Road at Lake Quinault.  Drive 2.3 miles to a parking area on the left just after the Pacific Ranger District Office, which is the Falls Creek - South Shore Trailhead.

Hike Description:


From the parking area, cross the road and pick up the Quinault Loop Trail (#854).  Follow the trail up for 0.6 miles to the waterfall, just before a bridge over Cascade Creek.  A scramble path leads down to the base.


There are some small cascades just above the waterfall that can be seen from the bridge.
