Canjilon Ranger District (Carson)

The Canjilon Ranger District of Carson National Forest comprises land around the small town of Canjilon in Rio Arriba County.  The district is located in the mountains of northern New Mexico with elevations ranging from 6,500 to almost 11,000 feet above sea level.  There are three campgrounds in the district, Echo Amphitheater and several hiking trails, including the Continental Divide Trail.
