Directions:
From Elkin, head north on US-21 for about 13 miles and turn left on Traphill Road. Go 4.4 miles and turn right on John P Frank Parkway. Drive 6 miles, entering the park, and right into the parking area just before the bridge over Bullhead Creek.

Hike Description:
From the parking area, a gated dirt road heads up along the creek. In a couple hundred feet, an obvious path to the left leads down to the creek at the base of the waterfall.
