Bridal Veil Falls (Pikes Peak)

Bridal Veil Falls is a small overhanging waterfall in Clayton County, Iowa.  The waterfall is located in Pikes Peak State Park.

Directions:


From MacGregor, go southwest on Main Street and then turn left on Great River Road.  Drive 1.9 miles and turn left onto Pikes Peak Road to enter the park.  The main parking area is in 0.5 miles.

Hike Description:


Bridal Veil Trail picks up past the main overlook and leads along the bluff to Crow's Nest.  From here, it descends into a small drainage and leads to the waterfall.


There is an overlook to view the falls or you can follow a path and walk behind the falls.
