Roosevelt National Forest

Roosevelt National Forest is an 800,000-acre forest in north central Colorado along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.  It is managed jointly with the Arapaho National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands.  The forest headquarters are in Fort Collins.  The forest is divided into two ranger districts - Boulder Ranger District and Canyon Lakes Ranger District.  The forest borders Rocky Mountain National Park.
