Hike Description:

A path leads from the picnic area up over the train tracks and down to an intersection with yellow-blazed Bartram Trail.  Turn left and cross Ledbetter Creek.  There was a bridge here, but it had washed away when we visited.  After this point, the trail begins to steeply climb up the ridge.  After about 0.8 miles, the trail levels out and and descends gradually back to Ledbetter Creek at at crossing at 1.6 miles.  It can be rock hopped in low water, but a wade in high water.  There is another crossing of the creek just before 2 miles.  From this point, the trail stays on river right and leads about 0.6 miles to the waterfall that is visible from the trail.  The base is so overgrown, there is no view down there.

The upper section of the waterfall is viewable from just a little further up the trail.
