Yellow Creek Falls (Cheoah)

Yellow Creek Falls is a 30-foot waterfall on its namesake, a tributary of Cheoah River, in Graham County, North Carolina.  The waterfall is located in land protected by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Directions:

From Robbinsville, head north on US-129/Tapoco Road for 10.9 miles from the light on Main Street.  The parking area is on the right.

Hike Description:

Pick up the trail following Yellow Creek upstream.  There are some nice cascades on the creek.

The trail is moderately steep in places, but only about a third of a mile to the base of the scenic waterfall.
