Twin Cascades is a beautiful double waterfall on Cascade Brook and an unnamed tributary in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. I am not sure the property owner, but I believe public access is allowed.

Warnings: The rocks around waterfalls are very slippery. There is a stone wall to climb over near the start of the hike. To see the waterfalls well, you must climb up an old stone dam with water pouring over it.

From North Adams, head east on MA-2 for about 8 miles and turn left on Whitcomb Hill Road. Drive 2.5 miles and turn left on River Road. Go 0.8 miles and pull off on the left after crossing the railroad tracks.

Hike Description:
Staying on the north side of the tracks, head towards the tunnel, but do not go on the railroad tracks or in the tunnel as its a live railroad line.
As you approach the tunnel, look for a path to the right along Cascade Brook. Right away, you'll have to climb over a stone wall. The trail is narrow in places and a little steep but easy to follow. In about 0.3 miles, there are some nice cascades on the creek below.
At 0.4 miles, reach the base of Twin Cascades.
To see the falls well, you'll need to climb up the stone dam (next to the log in the picture above). Once up, look to the left to see the tributary waterfall.
The waterfall on Cascade Brook is to the right.
