Travertine Falls (Chickasaw)

Travertine Falls is a cascading waterfall on Travertine Creek in Murray County, Oklahoma.  The waterfall is located in Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

Directions:


From Sulphur, head south on US-177 into Chickasaw National Recreation Area and turn right on Perimeter Drive.  Immediately turn right into the small parking area.

Hike Description:


Hike cross the scenic Lincoln Bridge to enter Flower Park.


Once across, go right and look for the obvious path that goes down to creek at the base of the waterfall.


There is a scenic waterfall on a tributary just downstream of the falls.
